Covering Letter PTM Top Tips

  • Match the header

Copy the top of your CV (name, credentials, contact) onto matching “header paper”.

  • Tailor every letter

Write it for that company. Never send a generic one. Sign it personally (import your signature, or sign a printed copy).

  • Name a person

Address it to someone, always. Check LinkedIn for the chief pilot or hiring contact.

  • Know their flying

Learn the operation (customers, aircraft, type of flying), then say what you like about it and what you’re most looking forward to.

Free builders

No sign-up walls we know of. Use them in your browser, keep an editable master, export PDF when you send.
